Dr Teo Ngee Biography
Dr. Teo Ngee graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1989. He completed qualifying exams in both surgery and radiology. Subsequently, he underwent further training in Interventional Radiology training at Guys’ and St Thomas Hospitals in London in 2000, under a Government sponsorship. Currently, Dr. Teo is a visiting consultant for both Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE).
With more than a decade’s experience in Interventional Radiology, Dr. Teo is conversant with the interpretation of X-rays, Ultrasounds, Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). His special interests lie in performing image guided procedures including Ultrasound-guided, CT-guided and Fluoroscopic-guided procedures. His sub-specialty is Interventional Radiology.
As recognition of his courage and dedication to treating patients during the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak, Dr. Teo was awarded the National Day Awards Commendation Medal in 2003.
